• Celebrate Freedom brings STEM education event to Irmo (lexingtonchronicle.com) — Families in Irmo can explore hands-on STEM activities at Moore Park on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., including a Special Forces helicopter landing. Local veterans, first responders, and businesses will be on-site to showcase careers and technology, giving students a chance to see real aircraft, drones, and equipment up close while learning about future job opportunities.
