HARD TO BELIEVE BUT VERY TRUE...
The recently discovered site of The Indian Head in Lower Lexington County continues to yield amazing and mysterious connections to many ancient cultures and civilization including the Roman Empire through a statue placed about 350 years ago along or near the ancient path leading to The Indian Head. Why was it placed along this ancient Mississippian path? Who put it there 350 years ago? To whom was it hoped to garner appeal?
The answers to these questions and many others will be discussed on 11 March 2014 at the LEXINGTON COUNTY LIBRARY MAIN BRANCH at 6:30.
