Hidden Beauty - The Secret Garden

This is my first post as a blogger here at Patch, and I am excited to be a part of this community. I will be sharing art, craft techniques, upcycling how-tos and iPhoneography (iPhone photograpy)

Did you know that we have our own little Secret Garden in the Irmo area? We do, and it is right behind the Irmo Library on St. Andrews Rd. I recently have become enamoured with the photographic abilities of my iPhone 4S and so can be frequently found veering off the road when I see something I need to capture on film (oops, digitally because well, it's an iPhone). Maybe veering off the road is not the right description because I do try to slow down and put my blinker on before I veer.

I found this sweet little garden behind our library and it truly does need some tender-loving care but I loved the wildness of it.

Newsflash: our library has a Friends of the Library bookstore inside where you can buy books on the cheap. I picked up my summer reading in there for $2 - 4 books. I'm old school, I still like the feel of paper.
