Am I really over 40? I don't feel like it. Some people might say I don't act like it. I like to dress up in bright colors and wear shiny hair accessories. Maybe I am compensating for my tug-of-war with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma a little over 10 years ago. I have very strong opinions on health and life issues after surviving that ordeal.
So. anywho, I was going to start blogging here last year for a few reasons. One was because suddenly one of my co-workers from "The Gamecock," newspaper had just taken on the Editor-In-Chief positon at Lexington Patch (Hal Millard, of course). I worked in Newspaper and Broadcast Journalism for about ten years, then kind of forayed out, mainly because of the lack of money. Anyone in the beginning stages of news reporting will tell you you will not get rich in local news reporting.
I have alot to talk about, but I need to get to bed, it is late. I will look forward to talking to other 40-ers and above and below on my future blogs.
