'It's All About Herbs' Festival at the Lexington County Museum a Huge Success

Herb Fest at the Lexington County Museum

Around 400 people came out to the Lexington County Museum on Saturday to buy and learn about herbs. The event featured vendors selling herb-related items including tea, jams and jellies, and cheeses.

The museum had the ca. 1832 John Fox House open for people to tour on their own. Around twenty-five people joined the museum director for a special guided tour of the Fox House and outbuildings.

The festival allowed the museum to gain exposure and let people in the community know what it has to offer. The museum is far more than one building.
