Check out lifelong learning opportunities for seniors at the new Shepherd's Center of Lexington.

Age shouldn't keep people from learning.

And according to a recent article in the Northwest Indiana Business Quarterly Magazine, it's not. It says a lot of Baby Boomers are seeking new knowledge and skills.

"According to an AARP study, nine out of 10 adults age 50 and older say they want to learn for reasons of personal growth, to stay up to date or for the pure joy of understanding a new subject. A few, however, need to master new skills to meet changing employment challenges," says the article

Seniors are now using the Intenet more (more than 50 percent, according to the Pew Research Center). And one-third of those Internet users are on social media sites such as Facebook.
