Lexington County Museum's Artifact of the Week: Feb. 24- March 2

Highlighted artifact of the week from the collection of the Lexington County Museum.

This week's highlighted artifact is a 1909 school register booklet from the Center School of Lexington County.  Center School was located near Gilbert.  The booklet was found in a tenant house owned by the donor's father.  It was printed by Walker, Evans, and Cogswell in Charleston.

See this artifact and more at the Lexington County Museum, located at 231 Fox Street in downtown Lexington. Visit www.lex-co.sc.gov/museum for more information. Check back next week for another exciting artifact!
