Lexington Remains No. 1 in Latest AAAA SCBCA Top 10 Poll

Cary, N.C. -- The Lexington Wildcats remained No.1 in the latest South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association Top 10 high school baseball poll released on Thursday.

Lexington, 11-2 overall and 4-0 in Region 5-AAAA play, is coming off a 1-0 setback to Mater Dei (Calif.) in second round action at the USA Baseball National High School Invitational on Thursday.  The Wildcats knocked off Florida Christian (Miami) 4-0 on Wednesday behind the complete-game effort by lefty Josh Reagan.

The Wildcats, who play Friday and Saturday at the NHSI, have a crucial region matchup at 8th-ranked South Aiken on Tuesday at 7:00.  Lexington travels to region-foe Aiken for a 7:00 start on Wednesday.
