Nick Ciuffo Homers Twice In Lexington's 10-0 Win Over A.C. Flora
Nick Ciuffo hit a pair of homers and Lexington rolls to a 10-0 win over A.C. Flora.

Nick Ciuffo hit a pair of home runs and drove in four runs, Brandon Camp and Ryan Brown added three hits each and lefty Cole McMillan pitched five shutout innings that helped top-ranked Lexington knock off A.C. Flora 10-0 in non-conference high school baseball action at Wildcats Field on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, Lexington's fifth in a row, the Wildcats improved to 17-3. The Falcons, ranked No. 2 in the latest SCBCA AAA poll, fell to 14-5. The Wildcats play at Region 5-AAAA member Dutch Fork at 7:00 on Tuesday.
McMillan led off the second inning with a double to left center and courtesy runner Brice Kirven eventually scored on a fielder's choice for a 1-0 Lexington lead. In the third inning, Ryan Brown had a one-out double to right center, and after a fly out and an intential walk to Ciuffo, Zach Paquette drove in Brown with a single to center that gave the Wildcats a 2-0 advantage.
David Barboza reached on an infield hit with one out in the fourth inning, stole second, and scored on Camp's two-out single to left for a 3-0 Wildcats' lead. Brown delivered a two-out, two-run double to left center that scored Camp and Cody Smith giving Lexington a 5-0 lead after four innings.
Ciuffo led off the bottom fifth inning with a towering homer to right field on the first pitch that gave Lexington a 6-0 lead. Ciuffo's second homer, a three-run shot to right center in the sixth inning, gave Lexington a 10-0 lead and ended the game.
McMillan (2-1) picked up the win blanking the Falcons over five innings by scattering five hits with four strikeouts. Jack Hudgens started and sufffered the loss allowing two runs on four hits over 2 2/3 innings.
Ciuffo and Brown extended their hitting streaks to 19 games for the Wildcats.
