Report: Hubbard in Running for Spartanburg Administrator
Lexington County manager one of three finalists left standing

Lexington County Administrator Katherine Hubbard is one of three finalists vying to become Spartanburg County's chief executive, the Spartanburg Herald-Journal reports.
Hubbard has been Lexington County's chief administrative officer since being hired by County Council in June 2006. Previously, she had served 10 years as the county's Human Resources Director.
As Spartanburg County's administrator her duties would be similar to her Lexington County duties, where Hubbard runs the day-to-day business of county government

The Washington, D.C. native made the final cut out of an original pool of about 300 applicants. Spartanburg County Council members are expected to select their new administrator in a special meeting on Dec. 5, the paper reported.
