Lexington Man Competes in 'Redneck Island'

Eric Bradford, a professional wrestler and former cheerleader, is competing in the CMT reality series.

A Lexington man is one of 12 contestants competing for $100,000 in CMT's reality TV series "Redneck Island." 

Eric Bradford, described as the "party boy jock" in the show's promotional material, will compete in the "ultimate redneck competition." 

The show, which debuted June 9, requires the competitors to make it through mental and physical challenges in the quest for the grand prize. At the end of each episode, teammates send one person packing.

Hosted by WWE star Steve Austin, the show brings the 12 competitors together on an island in Mexico. 

Bradford, who is listed as a professional wrestler and a former cheerleader in college, joins contestants from Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, Texas and North Carolina.
