Update: Lexington Wildcats Lose to Irmo Yellow Jackets

The Wildcats play Cooper City Florida at home next week.

Update: The Wildcats lost 24-26 to Irmo Friday night after a three-and-a-half-hour game.

Their record is now 0-4 for the season.

Davon Johnson, a freshman wide receiver/defensive back, was taken to the hospital during Friday's game, according to . His condition is unknown.

Johnson is the second player to be taken to the hospital during a game this season.

Quarterback Will Hunter  against Blythewood. He was back on the field this week, according to the Lexington Wildcats Twitter.

The Wildcats have a home game against Cooper City Florida next Friday.

Original story: The Lexington High School Wildcats will play the Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. Friday night at Irmo High School.  

One of the teams will take home their first win of the season. Both team's records are 0-3.
