Photos: Lexington Defeats Upstart Spring Valley, 63-44
The No. 2 Wildcats opened their home schedule against the 3-0 Vikings.
Despite 3-0 Spring Valley leading for a time in the first half and keeping it close for most of the game, Lexington's high-powered offense pulled away in the fourth quarter of Friday's night's home-opener for the Wildcats.
Another big night for quarterback Will Hunter, runningback Kevin Miller (who had five TDs) and wideout Shaq Roland (who had four TDs, three receiving and one on a punt return) helped the Wildcats to a big fourth-quarter lead.
Lexington (3-0) pulled away late and won, 63-44.
