Market opened Saturday, with local produce, flowers, arts and crafts.
The Lexington Farmer's market opened for the season on Saturday in its new location downtown.
Artisans and craftspeople and others will be sheltered indoors this year at the "Old Shoebox" building, located at 206 N. Church St., while purveyors of fresh local produce, flowers and nursery plants will operate outside along the building.
The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., every Saturday between now and October 27.
