Readers' Choice: Target, Hibbett's Tie for Best Sporting Goods

Ties. They are an unavoidable aspect of sports.

So perhaps it's fitting that this week's Readers' Choice for the best place to buy sporting goods in Lexington ended in one.

Sports enthusiasts chose and as their top choices in this week's contest, beating out four others in town.

Perhaps it was Hibbett's wide selection and specialized nature that garnered them votes. For Target, perhaps it was the lure of multi-tasking -- buying cat food, or bath towels, or a flat-screen TV, along with your basketball and dumbbells.
