Sandra Vining Promoted to Assistant Principal at White Knoll High
Vining, who currently serves as an assistant administrator at Lexington High, will start her new role at White Knoll High on July 1.

White Knoll High School has a new assistant principal for the 2013-2014 school year, Lexington County School District One announced Monday.
Sandra P. Vining, an assistant administrator at Lexington High School, will serve as assistant principal at White Knoll High School starting July 1.
The Lexington One School Board approved her promotion at their April 16 meeting.

Vining, who has 16 years of educational experience, began her career as a school psychologist with the Department of Juvenile Justice in 1997. She joined Lexington One in 1998 as school psychologist serving multiple schools. She became administrative assistant and psychologist at Pelion High in 2009 and was promoted to assistant administrator at Lexington High School in 2011.
Vining received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Charleston, a master’s degree in psychology and an education specialist certification in school psychology from The Citadel, and her master’s degree in educational administration and supervision from the University of South Carolina.

She is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Palmetto State Teachers Association, South Carolina Association of School Administrators, South Carolina Association of School Psychologists and Delta Kappa Gamma.
