Your Primary Day Voting Guide

Know where to go and what to do when you head out to cast your vote for the GOP presidential nominee on Saturday

Saturday, Jan. 21 is decision day in South Carolina.

Finally.

You've seen all the debates, heard and seen all the ads, and now it's time to cast your vote in South Carolina's primary to determine the GOP's presidential nominee. And since it's an open primary, you don't have to be a Republican to vote, all you have to be is a legally registered S.C. voter.

Lexington County has 92 voting precincts. Below is the list, by precinct number, for all the polls and locations for the town of Lexington.

Live elsewhere in the county? Click here for the full list of county polling places. Otherwise, registered voters who don't know their precinct can enter their county and name on the S.C. Election Commission website to find their precinct.

Have an absentee ballot you failed to send in? Simply take it to 605 W. Main St., Suite 105, in Lexington to be counted.

Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Voters should bring one of three types of identification: a voter registration card, a S.C. driver's license or a S.C. ID card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Anyone with any further questions should call the Lexington County Commission of Registration and Elections office at 803-785-8361.

And, remember, stay tuned to Patch for full coverage of, and local reaction to, the primary throughout the day and night.
