The YMCA of Greenville and Greenville Water announced a partnership on Tuesday, July 17. Greenville Water pledged $125,000 to sponsor the GHS Family YMCA Children’s Pool & Splash Park and aquatics programs at the YMCA of Greenville.
“Greenville Water has always been a supporter of YMCA aquatics programs by providing our facilities with clean, safe water,” said Jennifer Rackley. “And with the gift of their sponsorship of the Children’s Splash Park at the GHS Family Y, we are able to provide a fun and safe place for our youngest swimmers to get acquainted with aquatics.”
“The Greenville Water Commission is proud to support the GHS YMCA Pool and Splash Park. It is an opportunity to enrich our community and make it a great place to live for our customers and associates,” explained Greenville Water CEO David Bereskin. “We want the community to enjoy the water, but it is also important to educate residents about water safety and to provide swimming lessons which save lives.”
