Bob Wallace, Exchange Club of Charleston, was the keynote speaker on Saturday, 4 February 2012, in Greenville. In July 2011, in Detroit, Wallace had been the keynote speaker at the National Exchange Club Convention's "One Nation Under God" breakfast. Upon completion of his presentation the banquet hall erupted into a thunderous standing ovation that seemed to go on forever. From that moment on, whenever convention attendees recognized a delegate as a Charleston club member, they raved about his talk. It was clearly the convention highlight. The attendees in Greenville were equally as receptive to Bob's patriotic presentation.
Among attendees, were many members of our local Woodruff Road Exchange Club, who invited as their guests 15 Honor Flight World War II veterans’. Doris Ash, President-Elect of Simpsonville presented Mr. and Mrs. Wallace a gift of appreciation for being the keynote speaker at the 2012 annual event held at the Embassy Suites.
