Update: Car Collides With County School Bus
Driver's car pinned underneath bus in Greenville wreck. Driver, who was injured and released from the hospital, has been charged, troopers said.

Update: The SC Highway Patrol said Friday afternoon the driver who ran into a county school bus has been charged with driving too fast for conditions.
The driver, Tracy Gillen, 53, of Greer, who was injured in the wreck, ran into a school bus that had stopped for a traffic light on South Batesville Road at Enoree Road in Greenville near Buena Vista Elementary School around 8:54 a.m.
Gillen, whose 2003 Ford Taurus was pinned under the bus, was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital for unspecified injuries, but has since been released, the hospital said. A trooper said she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The school bus, driven by Michael Kelly, 55, of Greer, was empty of students at the time of the collision. Kelly, who also was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured, a trooper said.
Original post: A car slammed into the rear of a county school bus Friday morning, seriously injuring the driver, WYFF reported.

The wreck happened near Buena Vista Elementary School in Greenville. No children were on the bus at the time. No other injuries were reported.
The wreck pinned the driver's car beneath the school bus. The victim was airlifted to a hospital. WYFF reported witnesses at the scene said the driver appeared to be moving and conscious.
