Join the Clemson Club gymnastics team in welcoming 5 college gymnastics teams from the south to Clemson's first College Gymnastics Competition. The Clemson Club Gymnastics Invitational in partnership with the Palmetto Invitational and Easley Gymnastics Booster Club, will be hosted at the JB Red Owens Recreational Complex in Easley, SC on Saturday, November 9th at 6:00 pm.
Clemson Club Gymnastics was started in 2006 and the club students have been working tirelessly to bring Varsity Collegiate Gymnastics back to SC. With over 80 Teams at colleges and universities throughout the US, SC is one of the few states that is not currently represented in Division 1, 2 or 3 gymnastics programs. The South Eastern Colleges have some of the strongest Gymnastics Programs, yet SC has no representation in this division. Clemson gymnasts are working hard to change this and are the first to represent a University in SC in the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs (NAIGC) and have the only team currently active. Show your support of these athletes as they continue to break ground in the sport of gymnastics at Clemson.
The Clemson Club Gymnastics Program is a co-ed program with over 40 students participating. Show your support and cheer on the team as they compete against Tulane, Kenessaw State, Emory, Tennessee, and UGA teams on November 9th, in the Larry D. Bagwell Gymnasium at the JB Red Owens Recreational Center in Easley. Clemson Club Invite starts at 6:00 pm and admission is $4 with USAG card or Clemson Student ID and $5 to the general public.
