Community Pumpkin Patch

Eighth Annual Pumpkin Patch Debuts October 1

Holy Cross
Episcopal Church will host its eighth annual Simpsonville Community Pumpkin
Patch on Main Street, themed with "A Harvest of Hope for Our
Community."



The Community Pumpkin Patch sells festive pumpkins and other fall
items such as gourds and crafts to benefit Habitat for Humanity and other local
charities. The pumpkins are handpicked from a Navajo reservation in New Mexico.
All proceeds go to Upstate Charities, with none going to Holy Cross.



The Patch runs from October 1 to October 31:

It takes place on Main Street Simpsonville, on the grounds of Vaughn’s Country

Pumpkin Patch Charities:





The Pumpkin Patch benefits Habitat for Humanity of Greenville,
which provides affordable home construction for low-income families. Other
local charities of benefit include York Place, an Episcopal Church Home for
Children; Michael’s Way, a local non-profit devoted to educational assistance;
St. Francis Episcopal Church Hispanic Ministry; the C enter of Community
Services; Kairos Outside; Little Steps; and Safe Harbor.Β
