Cops: Simpsonville Man Robbed by Son--Who's Running for Office
Situations stems from a family dispute, according to the charged.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is saying that a Simpsonville man was robbed of over $1,200 worth of items last October.
Leroy Howard said his son Wes, from whom he is estranged, took the merchandise from his Simpsonville residence.
The elder Howard filed the complaint in late March. The younger Howard, who is a candidate for the District 3 Lexington County Council seat, surrendered to police on May 4. He has been charged with petit larceny and faces up to 30 days in jail and a fine of $1,000. A conviction would not disqualify him from office since petit larceny is a misdemeanor.
