Coroner Identifies Shooting Victim
Joseph Crite found dead Tuesday morning from multiple gunshot wounds inside local residence.

A man found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside a Lanford Drive home early Tuesday morning has been identified as 51-year-old Joseph Crite, according to Greenville County Deputy Coroner Barry Wright.
Wright said he located shell casings near the body, which Sheriff's deputies found around 2 a.m. after receiving a disturbance call at the residence, located near White Horse and Augusta roads outside Mauldin.
No arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation.
Crite's family said he moved here earlier this year. They said his front door had been kicked in when they went to home Tuesday morning, according to a report by WYFF.
