Reminder: Dylan Sneed to Perform at the MCC Tonight

Up-and-coming musician will make a Valentine's Day weekend appearance.

The Mauldin Cultural Center's 2013 Railroad Concert Series continues on Friday, February 15 with a Valentine's Day weekend performance from Hartsville-based musician Dylan Sneed at 7:30pm in the MCC Auditorium.

Sneed's one-of-a-kind style highlights his Texas roots with a new age twist on Americana, center director George McLeer said. "His guitar skills are matched by his knack for songwriting and result in a combination that can make every audience member forget where they are and get lost In every song," he said.

The Dallas Observer described Sneed’s music as “the best side of true Americana: music of passion and skill that can move an audience with a whisper or a roar.” Kevin Oliver of the SC Free Times said “Sneed’s songs give a contemporary spin to the Lone Star country and folk of Guy Clark, Steve Earle and others, coming out more like the acerbically literate North Carolina songwriters Jonathan Byrd or Malcolm Holcombe.”

This Valentine's Weekend concert will feature a pre-show reception for current Maudlin Cultural Center Members at 6:45 and during intermission.

Doors open at 7pm and a donation is required for entry.

Tickets, memberships and a preview of Dylan Sneed's music is available at www.mauldinculturalcenter.org. The Mauldin Cultural Center is located at 101 East Butler Road.
