WHAT: In the United States, more than 17 million households lack access and resources to enough food for a healthy life (Source: FRAC 2010).  At the same time, the United States has the highest obesity rate in the world with 73 million people (27 percent) being classified as obese (Source: CDC).

To help fight this epidemic, Weight Watchers Lose For Good campaign is back for a fourth year! For seven weeks, as members and online subscriber lose weight, Weight Watchers will donate up to one million dollars to two hunger fighting charities: Share Our Strength and Action Against Hunger.  At the same time, members can invest in their communities through local food drives.

Since the campaign’s inception in 2008, members and online subscribers have donated $3 million to Share Our Strength, and donated nearly 5 million pounds of food to local food banks across the country.

At Weight Watchers locations in the GREENVILLE area, local food donations collected for Lose For Good will be donated to GOD’S PANTRY.
