St. Francis Mud Run

Want to see people wallow in the mud? Then this is your event.

This is the first fall edition of the “Mud Run,” presented by St. Francis Sports Medicine, which is held each spring at SC-TAC (formerly the Donaldson Center) in Greenville.  The event became bi-annual in 2011 as a resulting of overwhelming support from people who participated in the Spring 2011 event.

he Fall 2011 event will feature an obstacle new to Mud Run enthusiasts:  a final 50-ft low crawl designed specifically to increase the mud factor before runners slip and slide their way across the finish line.

In addition to the main 4-mile course, there will be a quarter-mile course designed for children four years and older.  The course includes climbing walls, low crawls, rope swings, and lots of water and mud.

Proceeds from the event will support Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina and the Goodwill Foundation, and their efforts to provide job training and placement services to the thousands of people served every year.
