GCSO Investigating Simpsonville Burglary

Thief allegedly makes off with nearly $21,000 worth of valuables from a residence.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office said Friday it is investigating a home burglary in Simpsonville, where a thief reportedly made off with an estimated $20,900 worth of valuables.

Between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. yesterday, an unknown suspect forced entry into a residence located at 101 Brentmoor Place in Simpsonville. 

"The home was found to be in complete disarray when the homeowners returned," according to a report by the GCSO.  

According to the incident report, approximately $20,900 worth of valuables that included jewelry, electronics, and two firearms were allegedly stolen from the home.  

The Sheriff’s Office urged anyone with information about the burglary to call 271-5210 or CrimeStoppers at 23-CRIME.
