Judge Declares Mistrial Against Patrick Lowrance for Attempted Murders
Lowrance convicted on one count of possessing stolen car after a daylong manhunt last year in the Mauldin area.

A Greenville County Judge declared a mistrial Thursday when jurors failed to reach a verdict against Patrick D. Lowrance, who had been accused of attempted murder against two Greenville Police officers last year, the Greenville News reported.
Lowrance was, however, convicted of possession of a stolen car. Lowrance, who has spent 349 days in jail, was sentenced to time served and one-year probation.
Following an incident last Oct. 28, Lowrance, of Duncan, was accused of shooting at the two officers during a 12-hour manhunt that caused the lockdown of numerous schools and also shut down Mauldin Road.
