Local Teen Rachel Wyatt Wins Miss Teen SC
It was a good night for Upstate women as Laurens' Ali Rogers wins Miss SC.
Rachel Wyatt, Miss Greater Mauldin Teen, was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen 2012 on Saturday night in Columbia, reported WSPA.
Wyatt, 17, is from Piedmont and attends Wren High School. Wyatt also won the preliminary talent contest for her lyrical dance performance to "The Climb," the station reported.
Wyatt will compete in Miss America's Outstanding Teen in August in Orlando, Florida.
Meanwhile, Lauren's Ali Rogers won the title of Miss South Carolina. Rogers will compete for Mis America in January in Las Vegas.
A list of runners up for the title of Miss South Carolina Teen:
- First runner up: Sydney Sill, Miss Greater Greer Teen
- Second runner up: Tori Sizemore, Miss Upstate Teen
- Third runner up: Sydney Ford, Miss Clemson Teen
- Fourth runner up: Jessica Aull, Miss Columbia Teen
In addition to the new Miss South Carolina, Ali Rogers, here is a list of the runners up for the title:
- First runner up: Lauren Cabaniss, Miss Greater Greer
- Second runner up: Hannah Barfield, Miss Spartanburg
- Third runner up: Brooke Mosteller, Miss Greenville Scottish Games
- Fourth runner up: Leighann Bagwell, Miss Clemson
