Mauldin Chamber Needs Business "Ambassadors"
Local Chamber will hold a special information luncheon Feb. 14.

The Greater Mauldin Chamber of Commerce says it is seeking special "ambassadors" to serve for 2013.
"In order to serve our members in the best possible way, there is a real need to have additional ambassadors to carry out the responsibilities of this committee," said Chamber administrative assistant Judy Harris.
On Thursday, February 14, at noon the Chamber will hold a special luncheon meeting for members to learn more about the Mauldin Chamber Ambassadors program, she said. To attend, RSVP the Chamber by Feb. 12.
Ambassadors serve as mentors to new members and are active at grand openings, ribbon cuttings, open houses, and other Chamber events. Roles include calling before and greeting members at events, serving as a host to new members and facilitating networking, encouraging members to be engaged in Chamber programs and events, participating in the annual new member campaign, and so forth, the Chamber said.
