Movie Shoot Coming to Mauldin This Summer

Representatives with the feature film "Ugly" have confirmed that Mauldin will be one of the locations where the film will be shot.

The film stars Chip Days, who was a contestant on the second season of American Idol and was nominated for a Grammy this year. He is also a native of Hartsville, SC. 

Co-starring with Days is platinum recording artist DJ Unk and Monica "Danger" Leon.

The production team will meet the community next Tuesday, June 26 at the at 5:30 p.m. Anyone interested in investing in the film is invited to attend.
