Nine Sex Offenders Reside Near Mauldin Elementary, Middle Schools

At least nine convicted sex offenders live within a two-mile radius of and schools, according to a database maintained by the S.C. Law Enforcement Division.

A majority of the offenders have been convicted of crimes against minors, though some are either guilty of crimes against adults or victims' whose ages are not specified, according to the database.

Like other states, South Carolina requires that convicted sex offenders register their addresses anytime they move. According to SLED's database, the nine offenders live at the following addresses:

114 Brookhill Place, Mauldin

-Ronald Macklyn Forrester
1101 Garlington Road, Greenville

-John Thomas Smith
920 Tanner Road, Greenville

104 Rebel Ct., Simpsonville

-Stephen C. Lauderback
418 Piney Grove Road, Greenville

-Julius Franklin Hudson, Jr.
20 Glenmont Ln., Greenville

-Glenn Maxwell Roberts III
107 Woodridge Circle, Greenville

-Johnnie Morris Smith
100 Radcliff Way, Simpsonville
