Mauldin police officers and firefighters discarded put aside their service uniforms for gym clothes Thursday night and took to the hardwood at the Mauldin Sports Center for their annual basketball game. While the game might not have been the greatest showcase of roundball skills, the men's hearts certainly were in the right place. More than just a game, Money raised last night will be donated to defray McDonald's extensive medical expenses as he valiantly continues to battle back in an effort to regain his health. Patch was there and put together a photo gallery of the event (see above).
