Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night – Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night is Monday, November 19 from 5 pm – 8 pm. Mention Langston when you order in the drive-thru or inside the dining room and 20 percent of the sales go back to the school. The homeroom class with the most participation wins an ice cream party.

Youth in Government Conference – The Youth in Government Conference will be held November 11 – 13 in Columbia. Students participating in Youth in Government will compete with other students around the state as they present the bills they have created.

Box Tops Contest – A Box Top collection contest is currently being held between homeroom classes until January 11. The homeroom that collects the most Box Tops will win a Stevie B’s pizza party.

Speech and Debate Tournament Winners – Congratulations to the following students who won awards at the Bob Jones University Speech and Debate Tournament: Public Forum Debate: Team of Ankith Khandavalli and Charlotte Capers Snoad - Second place, Team of Aparna Mahendranath and Aleeza Massod - Fourth place; Impromptu: Hasna Karim - First place, Roann Abdeladl -Second place, Sarim Massod - Third place, Varsha Gopal - Fourth place; Extemporaneous speaking: Hasna Karim - First place, Roann Abdeladl - Second place, Anish Chaluvadi - Third place.
