
Junior Graduation Conferences to Begin January 24
Beginning January 24 - February 5, eleventh graders will participate in small group graduation planning conferences with counselors. Career exploration, graduation, and post-secondary options will be discussed in a small group setting then individual time will be spent with students. Parents are invited to attend. Students will receive notices January 22 of the date and time of their conference. Parents unable to attend may also schedule a conference with their child's counselor on February 6 - 8.
Greenville County Schools Offers Students Free Online SAT Prep Course
Greenville County Schools is offering a free Online SAT Prep Course from the College Board at no cost for juniors, seniors, and other students preparing for the test – a $69.95 value.
The online course helps students improve their overall readiness for the SAT with interactive lessons, practice tests, personalized score reports, essay writing skills, and detailed answer explanations. The course is comprehensive, easy to use, and can be taken anytime from a computer with internet access.

Sirrine Scholarship Application Now Online
The J.E. Sirrine Scholarship Program with Greenville County Schools is open to applications. Go to the front of the Mauldin High School website to apply. Any senior graduating with the 2013 class is eligible to apply. If you have additional questions please see Mrs. Dalton Kelsey in guidance
2013-14 Yearbook Staff Applications Available
Interested in being on a national award winning yearbook staff?Yearbook Applications are now available for pick up from Mrs. Beth Ward in B136 before Wednesday, January 25th to have time to complete the application assignments.
Job Shadow Day is February 15
Job Shadowing is a one day experience that introduces students to a particular job or career to learn more about a field of interest. Students at Mauldin High School may participate in job shadowing on February 15. In order to participate and be counted present for school while at the job site, students must pick-up an application packet in the guidance office and return it completed by February 4th. Students must select and make their own arrangements directly with a business or industry related to their occupational interests.
