Upstate Soldier Pleads Guilty to Involuntary Manslaughter
Soldier stationed in Texas accidentally shot friend to allegedly scare away hiccups.

A U.S. Army soldier from Spartanburg has reportedly pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a friend and fellow soldier, WSPA reports.
while watching a football game, in a Killeen, Texas apartment. Myers said he thought the gun contained dummy rounds.
Myers was reportedly sentenced to 3 1/2 years in military prison and had his rank reduced. He also will receive a bad-conduct discharge, according to the report.
