• Environmental Management awards $5-million grant to SRS reuse group (exchangemonitor.com) — A North Augusta-based nonprofit tied to the Savannah River Site just landed a $5 million federal grant to grow the local technical workforce. Spread over five years, the funding will help area colleges and universities train students for high-demand jobs at SRS and other installations, supporting thousands of existing positions and future hiring in the Aiken–North Augusta region.
