• Woman killed in nighttime crash on South Carolina road is identified by coroner (islandpacket.com) — A 29-year-old Orangeburg resident, Kennedy Wood, died after being struck by a car Monday night while walking along Lake Edisto Road in Orangeburg County. She was taken to MUSC Health Orangeburg, where she passed away, and state troopers are still investigating as officials note a rising toll of local traffic deaths this year.
