When

meeting the owner of Cirque Italia, Manuel Rebecchi, you will be

surprised that such a young entrepreneur took the same footsteps as

his family. Mr. Rebecchi is from Milano, Italy, and has brought his

legendary family’s genuine, traditional European style circus to

United States. Manuel is the nephew of the famous Moira Orfei.

Moira Orfei Circus is Italy’s most famous circus, founded in 1960.

Moira Orfei has been called the original Cleopatra of the big screen

and appeared in 48 movies. Her face has become synonymous with the

BEST Italian Circus performances of our generation. Her husband,

Walter Nones, is a circus entrepreneur and producer who not only

brought fame to the Circus Moira Orfei, but also has produced a large

number of shows such as Holiday on Ice, Moscow Ice Circus, Moscow’s

Circus, The Chinese Circus and Red Army Circus. His brother,

Massimiliano Nones, is a recipient of the prestigious Gold Clown

award, which was given to him directly by Prince Ranieri of Monaco.

CIRQUE

ITALIA
celebrates its 18th
