• Traffic stop leads to multi-county meth investigation, arrests (nowgeorgia.com) — Canon police say a traffic stop near State Route 17 and Spring Street led to a major meth trafficking investigation reaching into Elbert County and nearly 500 grams of drugs seized. Two Elberton men were arrested and a woman was charged after searches in Franklin and Elbert counties, with multiple agencies credited for working together to keep drugs off local streets.
