Simpsonville Applebee's Kicks Off Make-A-Wish Fundraiser
Simpsonville location joins restaurants in three other states to raise money and awareness of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for terminally ill kids.
Local Applebee's restaurants, including the one located at 3944 Grandview Drive in Simpsonville, have kicked off their inaugural fundraising program for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina.
Guests who donate a minimum of $1 are able to personalize a paper ribbon that hangs prominently in the restaurant.
The Apple Gold Group's participating Applebee's restaurants in South Carolina hope to raise $25,000 with the fundraiser, which runs until October 31.
All proceeds raised will go towards granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina grants over 130 wishes to South Carolina children each year," said Michael Olander, President and CEO of Apple Gold Group.
