Obituary: Dannis E. "Danny" Bundrick of Simpsonville

Dannis E. "Danny" Bundrick, 63, of Simpsonville, husband of Debbie Brown Bundrick, died Thursday, January 31, 2013.

Born in Lexington, SC, he was the son of the late Earl Mack Bundrick and Marylou Oswald Bundrick.

Mr. Bundrick was a high school athlete who held many offensive records in football at Lexington High. He was awarded the South Carolina and National Jaycees Young Farmer of the Year Award in 1979 and was a member of the Board of Directors of the County Farm Bureau. Mr. Bundrick was a member of Mason Lodge#119.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, Kevin Bundrick (Sherri), Patrick Bundrick, Wendy Robinson (Tripp), and Stanley Simpson (Kendra); grandchildren, Patricia, Mason, Avery, Korbin, Jessie, and Reagan.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Shull Bundrick, and sister, Karen Holden.

The visitation will be held Sunday, February 3, 2013, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
