Update 2: Security Lockdown Lifted at Rudolph Gordon Elementary
Reported gunman near school identified as a teen with an air rifle, contrary to earlier reports of a man with a shotgun.

Second update: A report by Fox Carolina, quoting Greenville County Sheriff's deputies, says the person spotted with a gun near Rudolph Gordon Elementary was actually a teen with an air rifle.
Deputies said it appeared the teen wandered too close to the school. He was not charged, according to the report. After a partial lockdown of the school on Scuffletown Road, officials lifted the lockdown around 3:30 p.m.
Update: The lockdown at Rudolph Gordon Elementary was lifted just after 4 p.m. The lockdown was lifted after it was determined that a man with a shotgun was only hunting in woods near the school, according to Greenville County Schools spokesman Oby Lyles.
