Alleged victims included his pregnant girlfriend and a 13-month-old child, police said.

A Simpsonville man was arrested Friday after he allegedly assaulted and kidnapped his pregnant girlfriend and a 13-month-old child, according to arrest warrants.
Larry Anthony Ladson, Jr., 23, of 110 Howard Circle #173, was taken into custody Friday by Simpsonville Police and faces charges of burglary, kidnapping, and domestic violence, said Simpsonville Police Department spokesman Lt. Kevin Threlkeld.
According to Threlkeld, officers responded to Maple Court Apts. in reference to a man kicking in the door to an apartment. Officers were told that the suspect had allegedly assaulted a female and a small child, forced them into a vehicle, and left the scene. The suspect was spotted in the area and was apprehended by police after attempting to flee from an SUV, Threlkeld said.
Ladson allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend by "punching her repeatedly in the face and body," according to arrest warrants. Ladson also allegedly punched the child in the face, the warrants said. In addition, the warrants also said Ladson allegedly assaulted two other men during the fracas.
Both the woman and the child were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries, Threlkeld said.
