• GCSO break down weekend street takeover arrests (wyff4.com) — A massive street takeover at Locust Hill and Fairview Road in Greer led to more than 80 arrests and 38 cars towed under South Carolina's new Roadway Protection and Safety Act. Greenville County deputies say social media helped organize the event and seized 10 handguns, including from underage and prohibited carriers, as lawmakers tout the tougher penalties aimed at deterring future takeovers.
