• Wagener man, 77, dies after running off road in Aiken County (theaugustapress.com) — A 77-year-old Wagener resident, Ernest M. Gleaton, died after his pickup ran off Festival Trail Road near Airport Road in Aiken County on Monday morning and he later succumbed to his injuries at Wellstar MCG. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office and S.C. Highway Patrol are still investigating, with toxicology results pending, and officials are inviting community members to share a photo of Mr. Gleaton.
