• More than $1 million worth of marijuana recovered after multiple search warrants were carried out in part of Virginia (wvnstv.com) — Abingdon residents should know their local police department is part of a regional task force that just helped seize over $1 million in marijuana during several Bristol, Virginia search warrants this month. Multiple businesses and a warehouse were searched, hundreds of pounds of marijuana and THC edibles were confiscated, and the investigation is now under review by the Virginia Attorney General’s Office.
