Madison Faux-Lawyer Charged With Second Rape In Two Weeks

A convicted sex offender has been charged with his second rape in two weeks by Nashville police.

NASHVILLE, TN — A convicted sex offender already facing rape charges for pretending to be an attorney and raping a woman who paid him $800 in "legal fees" is accused of a second rape with a similar modus operandi.

Wayne Willemsen, 39, who was arrested last week for raping a woman whom he convinced he was a practicing attorney who could defend her in Sumner County, was charged with another rape Monday.

A woman told police Willemsen contacted her through backpage.com for a massage and then requested she perform a sex act. She refused and said Willemsen handcuffed her, showed her a badge and said he had pulled her criminal record, according to an affidavit. After threatening her, the woman told police Willemsen raped her.

It's a similar pattern to the first rape Willemsen stands accused of, in which he flashed a badge at his purported client and threatened her with arrest before raping her, according to police.

Willemsen, who already has local convictions for criminal simulation and impersonation in addition to his Michigan conviction for criminal sexual conduct, is now charged with a second count of rape and a count of false imprisonment, in addition to the rape charge from the first arrest and two counts of violating the sex offender registry law.
