Johnson City: Paving Work To Impact Traffic And Parking In West Davis Park Neighborhood

City crews are completing sidewalk and curb repairs this week in the West Davis Park area in preparation for paving roads in the neighborhood in the coming weeks. The work is taking place from North Roan Street to John Exum Parkway and West 10th Avenue to West Unaka Avenue.

Roadways impacted will include the following:

West 10th Avenue

West 9th Avenue

West 8th Avenue

West Chilhowie Avenue

West Holston Avenue

Pleasant Hill Road

Beechwood Court

Montgomery Street

Davis Street

Jackson Avenue

Moorland Drive

Belmont Street

North Boone Street

All work should be completed before the end of the month, weather permitting. Signage will be in place on specific streets one to two days prior work commencing. Roads will be closed to all traffic and no on-street parking will be allowed during that time. All drivers are encouraged to avoid this area when possible.
